CUPE 389 MEMBERS SAVE THE ‘GULL! -Feel good story #2

Friday, February 24th- Working at the CNV Shipyards, City of North Vancouver Horticulture workers James O., Sam B. and Travis L. were at the foot of Lonsdale doing some gardening tasks when they noticed an injured seagull was laying in the grass.  This was unusual as this is a bustling area of the city, so the crew knew they had to investigate further.  When the workers got closer it appeared the bird had a broken leg. Knowing the weather forecast was calling for a snow event later that day, the CUPE workers had to act quickly in contacting the Wildlife rescue association of BC.

Thanks to these members, “Steven Seagull” is now on the road to recovery!
